BET sold a dry scrubber system to the U.S. incinerator manufacturer for an industrial sludge incinerator in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The exported system included an evaporative cooler, reagent and activated carbon injection systems, fabric filter, I.D. fan, ductwork and access to system.

B R A Z I L 

Sao Paulo, Brazil:  BET partnered with Brazil based Tersel, Inc. to supply an evaporative cooler, dry reagent and carbon injection and baghouse on two medical waste incinerators. The success of this system led to four more projects with Tersel in Brazil.  

C H I N A
Shanxi, China:  BET with their Beijing based partner provided a high temperature (740º F) baghouse shipped from the US to China. BET also provided the design and technical support for three (3) large baghouses that were fabricated in China. Our Wes McKenzie (6th from right) is pictured here with the start-up team in China.

R U S S I A
Russia

BET provided two (2) complete dry scrubber systems for export to be installed on municipal waste incinerators in Cherepovets, Russia as part of a U.S.A.I.D. project. The systems were sold to the US based incinerator manufacturer who provided the overall system. BET's on-site support included check-out, startup and training services.

S O U T H  K O R E A
South Korea

BET provided this dry scrubber/fabric filter for a municipal waste incinerator in Inchon, South Korea. The system includes an evaporative cooler, dry injection of hydrated lime and activated carbon, and a three module baghouse. The top portions of the baghouses and other critical components were shipped from the US, with the remainder of the system supplied by a Korean contractor to Bet's design and specification.

South Korea This was the first system we provided in Southeast Asia. The dry scrubber system was installed on a municipal and mixed waste rotary incinerator. We provided the critical parts from the US and supplied drawings for Korean supply of fabricated components. BET also was responsible for sizing and specifications for related system components (fan, compressor, insulation, etc.) as well as system check-out, startup and operator training.
T H A I L A N D
Bangkok, Thailand:  A hazardous waste incinerator project in Bangkok, Thailand went through a development period of more than six years, during which time BET worked with three different prospective incinerator suppliers. Ultimately Metso Minerals won the contract and BET is supplying the air pollution control system through them. The design includes an evaporative cooler, dry scrubbing and carbon injection, a four module baghouse system and a polishing wet scrubber.
