Installations
On
new source installations, BET can deal directly with
the customer or supply the equipment to the manufacturer
of the process equipment. We can supply everything
from the entire system, including installation to
only providing design and technical support for local
manufacturing.
Retrofits
Retrofitting
an air pollution control system to an existing source
typically requires considerable site-specific engineering.
BET's experience and dedication to this market allows
us to offer competitive solutions that assure the
most effective integration of the air pollution control
system with site conditions.

| Turnkey
Services |
| When
the customer prefers, BET can provide a full turnkey
system. We go to such a great extent of factory assembly
and provide a complete package of erection drawings,
construction specifications, and field supervision that
often the customer finds it more cost-effective to contract
directly for the construction. However, when the customer
does not have the personnel or experience to manage
the construction or just prefers to let a single contract,
BET can handle the entire project. |
| Upgrades |
| The
requirements of the Clean Air Act Amendments for individual
pollutant control have made many existing APC systems
obsolete. In other cases, relatively new systems have
proven to be inadequate because of the supplier's inexperience.
BET has a proven history of replacing components, improving
the design and operation of existing competitive installations,
or providing the most cost effective replacement of
a failed system. We can also provide economical capacity
expansions to existing systems.
Typical upgrades
include:
- Add a dry
reagent injection system for acid gas removal to
an existing baghouse.
- Improve
or replace evaporative coolers to provide dry discharge
operation.
- Modernize
the system controls.
- Improve
reagent supply systems or upgrade to bulk storage
and handling equipment.
- Convert
existing APC equipment to pulse jet baghouse design.

Parts & Services |
| BET
can help support or improve virtually any manufacturer's
dry scrubber, baghouse, or related equipment. We are
not a bag or parts manufacturer so we do not have a
self-serving bias, this puts us in a position to offer
truly objective advice. |

can repair or supply replacement parts or if you prefer,
we can help you purchase some items directly by providing
specifications, source lists, and quality assurance
programs. Items commonly supplied are:

Technical
Services
BET
provides system-wide, integrated technical services
(troubleshooting, operator training, maintenance manuals,
etc.) on all systems and equipment, new or old.
- Write short
form operating instructions.
- Rewrite
operating and maintenance manuals to provide total
system instructions (not just component manuals).
- Train operating
personnel.
- Inspect
and diagnose operating problems - high maintenance,
low efficiency, unreliable operation.

Maintenance
Contracts
We can provide regular maintenance services on either
an as needed or scheduled basis. Typical services
include:
- Bag inspection.
- Performance
testing and analysis
- Check system
controls, sensors, and instrumentation
- Provide
timely information on new products and techniques
- Emergency
response
- Supervision
of local labor for bag change out.
- Failed bag
testing and evaluation.
- Prepare
the system for emission testing and oversee operation
during the test.
